If you are a natural conductor and wanting to step into a top new role for 2019 - Check this out!

At Everest we are all about people. We work with our clients and candidates to build great relationships so we can match the right person for the right role.

Here is our latest role for 2019!

The Company:

NDA Group is a leading brand in the engineering industry in NZ. Dating back as far as 1894 when it was established in The Naki to support the growth of the primary sector in NZ. Today NDA is a diverse & expanding business operating internationally with several business units focused across multiple market sectors, and we need your experience to continue that growth & expansion into the future.

Our Site Services Business Unit operates throughout NZ at various locations delivering a variety of engineering solutions in a range of sectors that span Water, Capital Projects, Equipment and Services.

The Role:

With a range of services running across NZ there is now a need for an exceptional Capability & Resource Planner that can coordinate with the team across a range of different projects. This role is critical in managing the people (including contractors) and equipment needed for each job and will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are resourced correctly and internal communication around resourcing is 5 star. This will mean liaising with Sector and Project leads, analysing sales data and general market demands to match labour supply to demand. You will be responsible for managing a remote team of Site Managers and administrators while coordinating the placement of our fantastic trade staff and contractors to match the needs of our projects while building strong relationships across the board. The role will also cover asset management; ensuring all equipment is up to standard, correctly assigned to projects, and appropriate stock levels are maintained. Health and safety is of course paramount, and you will ensure all training needs are identified & coordinated, standards are understood and adhered to.

The Person:

As this role looks at workflow at a high level, we are looking for candidates with strong negotiation and operational background.  We are keen to hear from candidates who are able to wear a number of different ‘hats’ on a day to day basis, as you will be communicating with such a range of stakeholders. You will need to be adept at negotiating and influencing, and able to keep everyone on board and on side throughout projects. Experience within an Engineering environment would be ideal but we are open to other backgrounds, and experience using SAP and Salesforce will stand you in really good stead.  Contractor management experience is essential.

NDA has their busiest time throughout the winter season and would like to have someone up and running before then. We are looking for a real ‘conductor’ to take responsibility for this important position.  This is a senior planning role and key to the heart & wellbeing of the team.

If this role sounds of interest to you, please apply with your updated CV and a COVER LETTER, outline the main reason we should be considering you for this role.
